Recovery Reflections are published as a blogs. While these reflections may be of interest to others, they are written in light of and reflect the themes 12 Step Recovery.
Lord’s Prayer: Martin Luther, the German reformer, known as the “Father of the Reformation” understood the Lord’s Prayer as a model for prayer rather than a verbatim prayer. “Lord’s Prayer” takes each part of the prayer reflecting on what it is that we pray when we pray , for instance, “Our Father” or “Give us this day our daily bread” specifically in light of the 12 Steps.
God’s Word: Christian’s affirm that the Holy Bible is the authoritative norm for faith and life. Reflections in this section are based on a particular bible passage. This section asks the question, “How does this passage relate to me as a person in Recovery?”
